On the afternoon of July 8, 2025, a delegation from Kazakhstan visited Nanjing Institute of Technology. The delegation consisted of three members: Yerlan Keneshov, Academic Director of Tamos Aviation School; Botagoz Omarova, Head of Astana School No. 38; and Gulmira Saliyeva, Director of C2K International Education. They were received by Jiang Jing, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges; Luo Jun, Dean of the School of Continuing Education; and Tang Hu, Manager of Dr. Han’s Children’s Science Education, along with other relevant personnel.
Director Jiang Jing extended a warm welcome to the delegation and provided an overview of the university. She emphasized that the university has been consistently advancing its internationalization efforts in recent years and has established stable cooperative relationships with multiple overseas institutions.
Director Yerlan expressed gratitude for the warm reception and gave an overview of the schools represented by the Kazakh delegation. During the meeting, he expressed strong interest in the specialized training programs offered by Nanjing Institute of Technology. Botagoz noted that the university possesses high-quality educational resources in engineering disciplines, along with a strong alumni network and industry partnerships, which provide a solid platform for future exchanges and cooperation between the two sides.

Both parties reached a consensus during the meeting on their willingness to pursue future cooperation in training and exchanges. The delegation also expressed its wish to providing broader channels and resources for collaboration in areas such as professional training for Chinese and Kazakh students, exchange programs in China, and joint enterprise training projects.
