From April 13 to 16, at the invitation of Osh State University (OSU), a delegation led by Zhu Hao, Dean of the School of Communication and Artificial Intelligence, School of Integrated Circuits, visited Kyrgyzstan. Kozhobekov Kudaiberdi, Rector of Osh State University, held discussions with the delegation.

During the visit, the two sides held in-depth talks on the "2+2" joint program in artificial intelligence, covering current progress, education plans, curriculum development, joint research centers, and joint applications for research projects. Zhu Hao delivered a keynote speech titled Discussions on Hot Issues in Talent Cultivation Amid the Rapid Development of Artificial Intelligence, introducing NJIT’s development and AI trends. He also exchanged views with Azimov Bektur, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics, and Technology at OSU, on the optimization of talent cultivation plans and curriculum systems. The delegation also visited OSU’s Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Center, toured relevant schools, and discussed student training and the development of Zheng He College.

The delegation also traveled to the National Library of the Kyrgyz Republic to hold a textbook promotion event. Together with Dean Bektur, Toktosun and An DeYuan from the Confucius Institute at OSU, and Liu Yibo, Deputy General Manager of Phoenix Publishing and Media Group, the delegation held the launch ceremony for the textbooks Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and Introduction to Big Data Technology. Bektur and Zhu Hao delivered speeches, thanking the Chinese and Kyrgyzstani teachers involved in compiling and publishing the textbooks, and affirming their positive role in curriculum development, knowledge dissemination, and China-Kyrgyzstan educational cooperation. At the ceremony, the guests jointly presented the textbooks to the National Library of the Kyrgyz Republic and representatives of faculty and students from OSU.

This visit further expanded and deepened the school's cooperation with Kyrgyzstani universities in talent cultivation, curriculum development, and academic exchanges in the field of artificial intelligence, laying a solid foundation for NJIT’s mission for building a first-class applied university with international recognition.
